- My name is Henry (Hank) J. Henry, and I am retired from the United States Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after 24 years on active duty. I was born in Spokane, Washington, and grew up in a rural area 20 miles north of Spokane nearby Chattaroy, population 300. No one achieves much without help from others. We are all influenced by significant leaders that display good judgment, have vision of where they need to develop, and understand how the organization they lead needs to grow. They possess strong personal communication skills that cause others to willingly and often enthusiastically contribute to that process. And they all demonstrate the determination necessary to see their goals realized. I’ve developed this blog to recognize several of those individuals that have had an impact on me.
